Here are a few custom birthday cakes we have made over the last few months. Most of our clients are from the Salt Lake City area but every week we have the Park City and Provo customers as well. We have a blast making these cakes and are excited to keep on making more. Every week we get requests for custom cupcakes for birthdays. The cupcakes can be customized in many different ways. Some just want the colors to look a certain way, others want the year they are turning on the cupcake, others want figurines on them. In Utah it seems our guests love to think outside the box with cupcakes and give something more special. Here are a few birthday cupcakes we did to satisfy what our client wanted.
The first cupcakes were made for Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl player Paul Soliai's wife. She was turning the big 3-0 so he wanted a special cake. We made a Louis Vuitton purse with some accessories, but to serve the guests we made customized 30th birthday cupcakes. Here they are:

Mother's day! One of my favorite days....sleeping in, breakfast in bed, getting that love note from my husband and the drawings from the kids. A day to relax! Oh wait, I have four kids under the age of 8.....well I get to relax some but because I own a cupcake shoppe I get cupcakes!

It's Easter and a perfect time to get cake pops or cupcakes! Here are a couple of pictures, we have some pretty and glittered flower Easter cupcakes. These are Vanilla Bean based but we can put them on any flavor.

Sometimes a standard assortment of cupcakes isn't enough for a wedding, that is when our custom cupcakes enter....every bride has a different taste and that is why we love our business. Every wedding is unique and different. Sometimes bringing in a new challenge and other times it's simple, yet elegant.
With wedding cupcakes, most brides want some level of customization. This can be a simple one that has edible pearls or flowers on it to match the wedding colors. With the Sundance Film Festival in full force right now we have had some fun cakes and cupcakes requested for Park City. From popcorn cake pops to edible high heels to a Louis Vuitton hand bag.
Below are the cake pops we made for Turner Broadcasting for their Park City Sundance opening night party. We had a blast working with them and even better was her name is Janell...even spelled the same way as mine! :) We also worked with Lisa their event coordinate to get this display in place and make it a memorable night with some yummy cake pops. We did three flavors of cake pops, including Chocolate, Red Velvet and Lemon. Once I get updated photos (professional) I will add them to our facebook page so make sure to follow us. To make the popcorn cake pops we used marshmellows.
Next is a handbag cake and high heel shoe cake for one of our Park City clients. It was a birthday and they wanted something special yet amazing. It was fun to make and I wish I didn't forget my camera! Luckily some of the staff at 350 Main restaurant took some photos for me so I could at least post something about the cake.
Some other valentine ideas....heart cake pops! This is our first year making them so we have been experimenting. Our cake pops can come in any flavor but you have to pre-order to get the flavor options. Our most popular and the two flavors we will have at the cake shoppe is chocolate and red velvet. A dozen heart cake pops are $10, perfect for that valentines day surprise...cake pops...yum!
